Best AP Psychology Review book?

Why do people favor Barron’s over PR??? ALso how do I delete a thread…?

Lol. I don’t know how to delete a thread, but if you edit a post, you can choose to delete the post. Deleting the first post in a thread might delete the thread altogether…? :)

bump bump bump

according to people on this site Barron’s is the better of the two for this particular AP course so that is what Ii am purchasing .

But PR isn’t even mentioned…Why is that?

In my opinion, the AP Psychology book by Barron’s really isn’t filled with useless junk, it has a nice narrative and is very informative of the things that are going to be on the test.

I have heard that PR has things that Barron’s doesn’t have and vice versa but the general consensus here that Barron’s the better one out of the two. Probably because it covers more material.

Barrons if you really want a 5, PR is fine for a 4.

My friend, he self-studied AP Psychology. He bought PR first, but he felt that it didn’t prepare him for the exam. However, when he looked at Barron’s, he realized how better it was than PR. He told me that he wished that he had bought Barron’s instead of PR. (It was a good thing he received a 5 by luck)

Barron’s, hands down.
It was all I used, and I was the only one in my school to pull a 5.

I will definitely get Barron’s then. Right now I have PR, which I borrowed from the library to look through.

barrons…their flash cards especially!

Which is better, Barron’s with CDor without CD?

^always without. does any1 know if PR is bolded or has a review section with terms and their definition? barrons isnt bolded(…italicized -.-) and its a pain to go through it and highlight.

5 steps to a 5

PR has bolded key terms and the definition is usually in the same sentence as the word.

^bleh. my barrons human geography book had a review section with all the definitions…both my pr and 5 steps econ book have a review section too

Barron’s is always better for the easier AP.
