What books would be the best to provide evidence for the argument essay?
I’m thinking Catcher in the Rye, To Kill A Mockingbird, Black Boy, and a few more
It all really depends on the prompt you will get on the exam. Be wary as to not use cliche books or examples in your essay!
Talking in absolute terms is always something to be wary of. Each book has their merits. Consider taking a sheet of paper and mapping out potential ways you could use each of the books you’ve mentioned. Think about the core thematic parts of the book, ways the books are similar, different, etc. This’ll give you a better “toolkit” going into the exam.
