5 Steps to a 5 and AP World History Crash Course are good for themes and review structures and complement Barrons.

Suggest going to the library and comparing the structures of the books: look for one with a focus on the history and one with a focus on themes. Ds used 3 books, switching back and forth, to self-study their way to 5s.

You can get them out of the library- the material doesn’t change that much year to year.
