What is your favorite building on campus and why?

Herbert Johnson Museum by I.M Pei

probably hands down the most well thought out and well constructed building on campus

The Museum’s definitely gorgeous - the window wall on the fifth floor overlooking campus is like a piece of art in itself.

I also like the law library - makes one feel smart just being there.

The White library inside Olin is hands-down my favorite room, but it’s not a building.

I’ve been studying at Harvard lately and have a whole new appreciation for just how gorgeous Cornell is.

Duffield because it’s an amazing building and everything you need to live is there (food, shower, couches, etc).

have you been to the meeting room on 6th floor of the johnson? it is probably the most amazing spatial experiences i’ve ever felt. there’s this large long strip of window uninterrupted, framing the north side (cayuga and north campus) like a painting. too bad it’s not open to the public

wait Duffield has showers? I know it’s open 24/7, but that’d be useful at the end of an all-nighter. I suppose some kids DO live there , lol . they’re known as engineers,

Yeah, I found out about the showers over the summer. There is one on the third floor I believe. It’s a real shower, not a chemical shower.

RAND!!

haha jk

my favorite building has got to be the johnson museum. after having to draw it for weeks on end, i really got to appreciate every single aspect of it. it is actually really nice
