Best Business Undergrad Programs

Hello, I’m a senior currently applying and searching for colleges that have above average business schools. I’m particularly looking into management, finance, and/or marketing degrees to help narrow down the majors. Below I have my stats and schools I’ve applied to and will apply to:

Arizona resident (possibly WUE eligible depending on school and major)
3.342 UW 4.0 W GPAs (this is my big killer for me)
Rank 43/411
AP/Honors course load
ACT - 27 SAT - 1310 two times, 1300 one time
Very strong ECs, 3 years in DECA, 2 as an executive chapter officer (1 as CFO, this year as President) accompanied by 3 years of the marketing class (marketing instructor/DECA advisor is usually a recommender)
2 years in Link Crew (freshman transition program)
1 year in JSA (Junior State of America)
Above average work experience
2 10-week internships at my city hall in the finance department (usually one of my recommendations)
Currently working at Fry’s for 4 months as a bagger

I’ve applied to all my in-state schools (ASU, NAU, U of A, GCU) and have been accepted with varying scholarships
Also looking to apply to NYU (notoriously bad at giving financial aid and merit aid), Northeastern (might be a bit of a reach but I’m still gonna try), and searching for more strong business programs! Please feel free to recommend schools and give a short explanation on why if possible! ASU is my backup plan at the moment but I’m also applying to their honors college, Barrett. I appreciate it, feel free to ask questions if you need more info to help you recommend schoools I have a chance at getting into.

Also, what is everyone’s opinion of Hult’s International Business School? I keep getting calls from them and I don’t view it as a very good college, but I also haven’t done much research.

I wouldn’t consider Hult to be worth it over your instate options. You need to give more specifications about what you like and dislike in a school

Instead of Hult, I think you’d better off with the three Bs in Business:

Bentley, Babson and Bryant

Another B, Boston College. Very good business school

Colby-Sawyer, Emmanuelle College, Emerson College for Business Marketing

Florida International Univ has a really good (and affordable) business program. Top companies show up to recruit from there often and I know lots of grads from there with great positions.

Hult is generally regarded as a diploma mill.

Your in-state options of U of A and ASU are pretty good. U of A actually has one of the best programs in the country for information systems, which many people don’t realize is often the best paying business/non-engineering major at most schools. U of A and ASU also recruited well by the Big Four for accounting.

With your stats and depending on how far you want to go from home, you may want to throw your hat in the ring for the Kelley School of Business at Indiana. I’m not sure if you’d be a direct admit for that program, but it may be worth a try. It’s always top 10-ish in the undergrad business rankings with strong ties to both New York and Chicago jobs and punches above its weight for placement in investment banking and management consulting jobs that are normally reserved for Ivy/Ivy-level schools.
