Best CC usernames?

<p>Most of our usernames on CC are merely descriptive, cryptic, or apparently random. But I’ve always appreciated “LurkNessMonster’s” extra effort to create something clever and relevant. On the student boards, I’ve encountered “ubetteracceptme” and “iwishiknewarabic.” What other CC names have you encountered that rise above the mundane?</p>

<p>Momnipotent isn’t around much anymore, if at all, but I always thought she had a winner (along with ellenemope). Ditto avoidingwork - she once sought nominations for a name change, but I don’t think she did it.</p>

<p>I’ve always liked “Mediocrates.”</p>

<p>If I were a kid instead of a parent I think “Junioritis” would be a pretty good CC screen name, but I’ve never seen anybody use it.</p>

<p>I have to think more about it but you guys definitely named some of the most clever names like ellemenope, LurkNessMonster, etc. Actually, AlwaysAMom is a very TRUE name for all the moms out there who can relate. </p>

<p>The names that give me pause are the great many variations on a theme of “Ivy or bust”…I can’t remember them but along the vein of IWantIvy, ■■■■■■■■, IvyHopeful, IvyParent, IvyMom, Ivy09, Ivy&Beyond, IvyWannabe, HarvardWannabe, IvyObsessed, IvyPlease…well, you get the picture.</p>

<p>I know, Soozie - I always wonder about posters called something like UMichorBust who wind up at Ohio State. What do they do, continue to post secretly and in shame, or start all over again on CC with a new username?</p>

<p>I kind of like Bullwinkle. And I like Binx (whatever that means). Curmudgeon is my all time favorite…and I like his posts too!!</p>

<p>I like “momof2inca”. It took me a while to figure out that she actually meant “mom of 2 in CA”! Ha-ha!</p>

<p>Remember Backhandgrip (what happened to that poster)? I always thought it was a reference to a grip in theater. Turns out it was all about tennis! Can you tell, I have nothing to do with sports and a lot to do with the arts?</p>

<p>How about worst username? MidwestMom2Kids_ with an underscore at the end. I had been using the name without the underscore but then the email address I’d had when I signed up went away and I couldn’t confirm things when I forgot the password to MidwestMom2Kids … so I had to start over with a new name… but I liked the old one and wanted to keep posting in some of the same forums. Hence MidwestMom2Kids"_". Like a little decoration at the end of my username. :frowning:
That was not particularly brilliant of me to forget my password…</p>

<p>I agree, I like curmudgeon, both his username and his posts.</p>

<p>And remember, owlice means owl and ice, not ow and lice…</p>
