Best chances for Interactive Media MFA?

What bachelor’s degree would be best suited to the IMD’s MFA? I was accepted to UF’s English Dept, and going to minor in Computer Science. Would that weigh heavily, or would something else work better? Is the degree or portfolio more important? USC IMD is my dream, so i want my MFA from there.

bump. there has to be someone out there who has some stats on this stuff…

By far the most important thing is your portfolio. It needs to show creativity and potential. Comp Sci people are important, but, they accept students from a diverse array of backgrounds including theatre, art, design, film, and even political science.

My S got into IMD’ s MFA program with Comparative Media Study degree. He is a staff writer for school newspaper for 4 years, acts in school plays several times and writes critics for school theater too. Goof Luck!
