I am applying as a freshman, I would like to know what will be the best school to apply to for chemistry major. I would prefer a college in Florida. 
Is your home state FL? If so you can use Bright Futures in-state. All the majors Us should have a good chem program.
Check out Santa Fe College, they offer two and four year degree programs. I’m currently a student getting my AA in biological sciences before transferring to a university and I’ve had a great experience with the chemistry, math, and biology curses I’ve taken so far! Best of luck to you!

Is this still true? Then go to any of the good Florida publics and get a great GPA. They’re all fine for Chem, particularly if you’re premed.
What is your back-up plan if you don’t go to med school?
