<p>You probably won’t find any with an undergrad major more specialized than American History. Your best bet is probably to look up your favorite scholars of the period and find out where they work, and research whether they teach undergrads.</p>
<p>^ Yeah, that sounds like a good plan. For example, Eric Foner is well-known for his work dealing with Reconstruction. Look him up, and he’s a professor at Columbia, so if you like Reconstruction a lot, you’d apply to Columbia.</p>
