best college for me??

Hi, i’ll try to make this short.
rank: 10 out of 400, which is in the top 2.5%
program: IB
AP scores: comp gov 2, english comp 3, us history 3, calc bc 5
(i’m more into math and science)
GPA: 4.23

i prefer suburban settings and i see myself majoring in either biology, chemistry, but most likely some kind of mathematics
i love to learn about math and solve puzzles so i’m hoping to find a career that would be along the line of these. i saw myself becoming a doctor but still unsure…
ethnicity: asian (english is my second language)
sports: varsity soccer since freshman year, jv field hockey freshman year and varsity since sophomore
volunteer: peninsula fine arts center and riverside hospital at the emergency department
my SAT’s were not very good (1850) i’m definitely taking it over and i’m hoping to get over a 2000, hopefully around 2100

please give me any suggestions on which colleges i could be researching on! early decision and early action deadlines are closing in :)!

Amherst, Bates, Bowdoin, Bryn Mawr, Carleton, Colby, Grinnell, Haverford, Kenyon, Macalester, Middlebury, Pomona, Smith, Trinity (CT), Wellesley, Wesleyan

In which state do you live?

I second Bryn Mawr. I understand they have a pretty strong math department.

Princeton! Best math department in the country! (And it’s suburban.)

William & Mary is not as numbers based for admission. You could have a shot there

princeton is definitely out of my league. lol. their campus is gorgeous though. i live in virginia so i’m going to apply to uva. i’m also considering northwestern

oh i also got a 30 on my ACT. i’m also planning on taking it over again

Hopkins doesnt just have a famous medical school you know.
