I’m a junior in high school and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for where I should be considering for college. My dream is to become a costume designer, and I konw that there art schools that have costume design majors. But I also have other interests. I don’t want to completely focus on costume design throughout college. Here’s a little bit about myself:

Weighted Academic GPA: 4.68
Non-Weighted Academic GPA: 3.97
Class Ranking: 1/261
SAT: 1910 (but I’m taking it again tomorrow, so hopefully I’ll do better)
ACT: 26 (I’m also planning on retaking this as well)
SAT Subject: US History: 660

I’m my test scores aren’t the greatest compared to my grades in school. I know that with the SAT, the math portion really brought my score down. I don’t want to list off excuses, but I know I’m not bad at math. I’m going to be taking multivariable calculus at my school next year. I think it might be because the SAT tests geometry and algebra skills, which I have not taken since 8th grade. I know that’s not an excuse, but I just wanted to explain myself. And as for the ACT score, the science really hurt me. I honestly just don’t like science. It just bores me. I’m so excited to not be taking a science next year, which I know is not good for college applications, but I just really don’t want to take a science class. I’d much rather be focusing my time on something art related.

Sorry for rambling. But I just wanted to know where would be the best place for me: somone who wants to focus on the arts (specifically costume design), but is also interested in academics. Any suggestions? Please help me. Thank you!
