I’m planning on majoring in Biomolecular-astrophysics and I was wondering what are the best schools for my intended major?

I am not sure there is such a specialized major. Is that even a field?! LOL! Seriously, I heard of Molecular Astrophysics, but I am not sure how “Bio” goes with “Astro”! Not that it matters, even Molecular Astrophysics is too specialized a field for an undergrad. I would focus on Physics and Astrophysics as an undergrad.

What are your stats? Here are some excellent Astrophysics schools:

California Institute of Technology
Cornell University
Harvard University
Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Princeton University
University of Arizona
University of California-Berkeley
University of California-Santa Barbara
University of California-Santa Cruz
University of Chicago
University of Colorado-Boulder
University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign
University of Michigan-Ann Arbor
University of Texas-Austin
University of Wisconsin-Madison

Although Rice does not offer a “bioastrophyics” major, it does offer strong programs in biochemistry/cell biology and in physics/astronomy. It is possible to double major in both subjects.

If I remember correctly, Duke is starting a biophysics major this year.

Both Duke and Rice would be great schools for your interests.
