And, in a nod to the times, the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors
CU Boulder’s Ralphie the Buffalo -1300+ pounds of her plus her 5 cow poke handlers, who are considered student-athletes. There are videos on line if you want to see her run. They use female bison because the male bulls are too big, fast and hard to handle. Pretty scary thought given how powerful the female bison are.
