Best college OSS for recreation/enviromental studies

<p>hey folks, </p>

<p>I am completing my AA in Liberal Arts by the end of this summer. I am located in upstate NY and looking to transfer OUT OF STATE. I am in a toss up of majoring in public policy or environmental studies/Recreation. I think i would love goin out west, being thats the only place i would see much change =]</p>

<p>So i was just hoping some of you can give positive input on recommended schools out west with my major in mind, considering reasonable price for OSS costs; i have also been considering private colleges.
I recently came across Hawaii Pacific University (Private, $18,480 for environmental science).</p>

<p>so thats something im thinking about. Basically I want to go to a school in a area that would have vast natural resources;nice territory. =p</p>
