I’d say Charlottesville or Madison

I agree, Charlottesville is a gorgeous town! Also, Lexington is not bad either with its classic, antebellum style.

poughkeepsie…

Asheville, NC is one of the better college towns, as well.

beantown :)

Hmmm… ATL or Athens, GA. The first for being urbane, vibrant, diverse, in a city, but most college campi are beautiful and tree-lined as if they were in a college town or country setting.

The second is, well, a big-ass college town! LOL

Boston, MA

I think Chapel Hill is pretty nice too :)

Chapel Hill.

UC Davis All the Way

San Diego or Miami.

Yeah definitely potown…hahahaahahaha

Of course, I’m also partial to Tuscaloosa, AL.

Lawrence, KS. the ENTIRE town(or state) is about KU…School Spirit and student discounts aren’t as bad either.

san diego, miam, and atlanta are not necessarily college towns…

^ummmm, ATL IS a college town. Do you know how many schools it has?

Emory University, including Emory College AND Oxford College
Georgia Tech
Georgia State University
Mercer’s Business, nursing, and other campi
Oglethorpe University
Reformed Theological Seminary
Atlanta College of Art & Design (now Savannah College of Art and Design)
John Marshal Law School
Clark Atlanta University
Morehouse University, including the College and School of Medicine
Morris Brown Collee
Spelman College
Agnes Scott College
Clayton State
Georgia Perimeter College, with suburban and intown campi

Not to mention most of the venues, attractions, etc. cater to young adults 18-25. So, do you REALLY want to tell me ATL is NOT a college town?

Cambridge. Not the one in MA.

Boston

Atlanta may be a college town, but a horrible one. I loathe Atlanta.

New York, NY

SCHOOLS:
New York University<—this is where I want to go(Stern)
Columbia University
Barnard College
CUNY Baruch
CUNY Hunter
New School University
Parsons School of Design
Pratt Institute
Brooklyn Law School
New York Law School
Cooper Union
The Julliard School
Yeshiva University(?)
etc etc etc

New York beats all. :D

new york isn’t a college town regardless of the amount of universities…
