I think someone else mentioned it, but I would encourage you to look at American University in D.C. It has one of the best International Relations programs in the country and a thriving theater program. My D is a sophomore who is pursuing a double major in Theater performance and Public Communications. Many of the theater majors are pursuing double majors and she has been very pleased with the faculty and training she is receiving in her theater classes. It is a BA program, not a BFA.

Besides all that, D.C. is an exciting place to live with many opportunities for internships, etc. Also, my D received a very generous academic merit scholarship from American and I am assuming, if you are applying to Ivies, that you have even better stats than her. One caution though, they take demonstrated interest very seriously and tend to reject if they think you are using it as a safety school.

Good luck!
