<p>Hi all, I’m a rising junior looking for a single next year with lottery number 521. A few friends are going to be in Schapiro so I’m leaning towards that. What is the best dorm for juniors, not in terms of location/amenities, but in terms of how social the dorm is? I want a dorm where people actually speak to each other and hang out in the lounges, etc.</p>
<p>As far as I know, none of them are really like that. Wien has the most juniors but most floors don’t have lounges. McBain, on the other hand, is a lot more social but you’d be talking to sophomores mostly. Broadway and River are both quiet and relatively antisocial, partly due to the population being mostly seniors. I’d say Schapiro’s your best bet (although you already picked today…)</p>
<p>Broadway is mostly juniors but pretty antisocial. River is all seniors and even more antisocial. I’d say go for a single in Schapiro.</p>
