I’m trying to find community colleges as backups. I’m looking for a good working environment with ease of transfer to investment banking semi target schools. Good social life is a plus.
In one of your other threads you said you need financial aid to pay for school. As a US citizen living abroad, you likely will be considered OOS everywhere, which will make public colleges more expensive. The best aid goes to freshmen. If you attend a cc, you’ll lose the opportunity to get merit aid.
How much can your parents afford? Check the guaranteed merit award thread in the financial aid section to see if you qualify for any grants.
Approximately 30K per year max total cost. Is there zero aid merit or otherwise for transfer students at the top schools?
A good selection of top schools state they meet the full demonstrated financial need of all accepted students, which includes transfers of course.
However if your parents can afford $30K/year then they may not really qualify for much financial aid. Run the Net Price Calculators on some schools’ web sites to see what they might say for a full need school.
I recommended this link to you on another of your threads. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/financial-aid-scholarships/1678964-links-to-popular-threads-on-scholarships-and-lower-cost-colleges.html#latest
I don’t think schools that are IB targets tend to take many students from CCs.
