<p>Hi, I am Indian international student. I am planning to apply to MIT and Stanford only.
Unfortunately they do not offer any programs in Spyware Engineering.
I am seeking to extend my options.</p>
<p>I am interested in trojans, bots, tracking cookies, spams, et-cetera.
Please let me know how I can break into spyware industry (no pun intended).</p>

<p>You may want to try places besides MIT and Stanford though. Unless you have fallback schools back in India, I would caution you that it is foolhardy to only apply to such selective schools.</p>
<p>Some colleges offer a degree in Computer Security…people who work in that industry (which is very competitive b/c of the high salary and the allure) do cryptology and create proof of concept malware.</p>

For my BS Honors diploma in IIT India I created flashing pornographic banner desktop app that downloads updates daily to update content in real time. I won 2nd prize in school coding challlenge of this work.</p>
<p>You are right, apply to just stanford and MIT is silly. I will probably also apply Caltech.
I just hope they have solid malware-development program. I will write some professors.</p>
