Best dorm for ASU (exchange student)

<p>Im an australian who will be doing exchange in ASU next year for the spring semester. I will be 2nd year while im there, which obviously excludes me from the freshmen only dorms.</p>

<p>What is the best dorm to go into? I’m mainly looking for one that social and has a lot going on in terms of social life and parties. I’ve heard that cholla apartments are really bad and that everyone keeps their doors closed so im ruling that out. I wanted to go to Manzanita but that is being renovated.</p>

<p>From what i know all there is left is university towers and the Vista del sol apartments. I hear dorms are better for meeting people, because I wont know anyone else who will be there. </p>

<p>What do you recommend? If you know any better dorms I can stay in please tell me. It seems like everything that isnt a freshmen only dorm is an upperclassmen dorm, which is mainly people older than me (im 19)</p>

<p>Isn’t it normal to close the door to your apartment? Otherwise you might as well just ask people to come in and steal your stuff.</p>

<p>ive also got the choice of Vista del sol. it looks awesome, but i heard its maintained really badly and theres a lot of bad reviews. is this true?</p>
