What’s usually the usually the easiest Ap course to take? And what’s usually the best to take and learn especially for college?

Based on personal experience, I’d say that AP United States History is one of the easiest AP class.

In my school AP Psychology is known as the easy AP.

AP US History is also easy if history is your thing.

I’ve heard good things about AP Human Geography.

I’d say AP English Language is the most useful for college. No matter what you end up majoring in, chances are you’re going to have to write A LOT. Useful life skill too, for that matter.

The US History test itself isn’t bad as long as you know everything… which is a lot. In what I’ve experienced, though, the class is

Very few people got out with As - and that’s for the first year, since my school splits US History to two classes (1500s-1880s, 1880s-present). I think there are going to be more Cs and Ds than As and Bs in my school for the second year. Thank god I went back to honors for that…

Other than that, AP English, AP Psych, and AP (Whatever foreign language you fluently speak that is offered) should pose little problems.

If you’re decent with numbers, Stat will be easy cruising. Just know how to push buttons on your calculator :D

If you’re an engineering type of person, then AP Computer Science A will also be fairly doable. However, if you’re not the logical-minded type, then you may struggle with APCS. In my class, 1/4 of the kids breeze through the course, but the other 3/4 really have to make an effort to get by. No coincidence that the APCS exam pass/fail rate is one of the lower ones, despite having a highly self-selecting pool of test-takers. It depends on how well you can think as an engineer using basic logic.

I also agree that AP Eng Lang is a great course for college. No matter what degree you pursue, you will need to know how to read critically, process the information, and write well.

Environ Sci, Psych, Human Geo, Comp Gov, Micro/Macro are all likely candidates for easiest AP courses for the average student with no inclination for a specific field.
