<p>What is your favorite shaver, and why?</p>
<p>Our son has a tough beard, sensitive skin, and a new job. Santa may be able to get him a better shaver.</p>

<p>I’ll follow this thread as H’s just died and he hates hand razors.</p>
<p>My husband uses the more/most expensive Norelco w/the three heads. He says it’s the best shaver he’s ever had. He cleans the shaver regularly. It is cordless, recharges are good for about a week. </p>
<p>Before shaving he uses Aramis Lab Series Electric Preshave to soften up the hair.</p>
<p>My husband loves the Braun series 5 (I think it’s the syncro series). He always swore he would never use an electric shaver until I got him his first Braun. It’s pricey but the first one lasted at least 7 or 8 years. Son also has one.</p>
<p>My husband also uses the Norelco top-of-the-line. He has a very heavy beard and shaves twice a day. He burns through them in about a year. A few years back I gathered up five old razors and mailed them in… for a total $100 payment, all five came back completely rebuilt or replaced with a newer model. They do stand by their warranties.</p>

<p>Son is well into his fifth yr with the Braun. I think its the seven series. Comes with cleaner docket and has three heads. He has very sensitive skin and course beard. He loves it.I bought it on sale at xmas for a least half price. I have bought relacement head once so far.</p>
