Best fun stuff sent with Acceptance Letter

What schools sent you fun stuff for being accepted? Best thing you got/know of someone getting.
My friend got some cool stuff from Wheaten (candy and a balloon)… Grinnell sent me the little thing that people stick on to the back of your phone.

Discus.

Most of these did not come with my initial acceptance, but I received virtual reality goggles, a bumper sticker, a certificate, posters, and even candy hearts through the mail! I also got a fidget spinner during an admitted student campus visit! My dad says that I am in “hog heaven” :slight_smile:

@helppleasepharm Dang reality goggles! That’s pretty great-- which schools?

Colored pencils!

One school sent me a rubber ducky. I was very confused

Don’t know if this meets your definition of “fun stuff”, but Reed College sends accepted students a paperback copy of the Iliad.

@Wrennn What school was this?

Our dog got a Dawg bandana from Butler University (the Bulldogs). Really, it was addressed to my dog by name. Corny, but pretty darn cute anyway. Also got a bandana and some pins from “Direct Admit to Liberal Arts” at Indiana University. Is that a big deal? Wish they had given us some merit and/or financial aid instead! And a phone pop-socket from St. Olaf at their Chicago admitted student breakfast last week.

@MrElonMusk It was Bridgewater State. The duck has the school name printed on the front and a rainbow across the butt?

@Wrennn Hmm. Interesting stuff.

UMN gave me a golden gopher to put on my mortarboard… unfortunately I ended up not going there, and we weren’t allowed to decorate our caps (unless we bought a second, plain cap to walk across the stage, which really isn’t worth it)

University of Tulsa gave a t-shirt and stickers. University of North Dakota sent a drawstring bag.
