Best Geography Program Schools in NY?

<p>Hi, I’m looking for schools in New York State that offer the best geography programs. The names UAlbany, SUNY Geneseo, Binghampton University (SUNY) and UB (University at Buffalo) have been thrown around. I am most likely going to be looking at the SUNY system for cost reasons. Which SUNY school has the best, most well-respected geography program in the state of New York? Are there good internships offered at said school? Thanks for all of your help :)</p>

<p>According to the [NRC</a> Rankings](<a href=“http://www.stat.tamu.edu/~jnewton/nrc_rankings/area37.html]NRC”>NRC Rankings in Geography), Buffalo has the strongest geography program although there might be quite a few opportunities offered at Albany owing to its location near the capitol</p>

<p>University at Buffalo is probably the best.</p>

<p>University of Minnesota also has a great geography program and its relatively cheap for out of state people.</p>
