<p>This girl loves Apollo 13. (Actually I love a lot of these guy movies.) :)</p>
<p>My favorite thing about Apollo 13 is it has two sets of heroes. The astronauts, of course, are heroes the minute they strap in, because they seriously risk their lives for a worthy cause. This movie shows how these three men excelled under unimaginable stress and hardship.</p>
<p>However, the movie also features the heroes on the ground, with their slide rules (what?) and pocket protectors. These nerdy-genius guys had to figure out within hours how to basically rebuild the Apollo 13 (in space) out of duct tape and boxes and how to get the astronauts home. It is an inspiring movie.</p>
