<p>I just saw this link. I live near SF and real estate is on fire here. I think many areas are going to new highs. I can’t remember seeing inventory this low, and I not just saying this because holiday time is approaching.</p>

<p>And now with the Fed continuing to talk about keeping interest rates low, that has to be good for housing.</p>

<p>It’s funny, I just read the title and automatically thought Bay Area!</p>

<p>The nice areas in the SF bay area are bubbling. </p>

<p>I know so many people complaining they can’t find deals or they are out-bid on properties.</p>

<p>If lending rules come back from draconian to sensible many areas will take-off. Half of deals fall-through due to financing issues. Sensible deals–not wild speculation.</p>

<p>I wish it would migrate a bit north to Portland. Couldn’t believe my tax notice. My land is almost worth more than the house.</p>

<p>A friend is going to be out of the country with his family for a while and was looking to rent out his home. He called two brokers this morning asking if they would list his property. The brokers asked him if he wanted to sell his home.</p>

<p>Two buyers came over to look at it today. His wife had to go crazy cleaning up before they arrived. They don’t have a place to stay if they sell it and they have young pre-school kids. How’s that for a crazy real-estate market?</p>
