What appeals to you about investigative journalism? I mean, besides the premium it places on research skills.

I’ve always been interested in getting to search for the real facts and getting to tell the story to the public amongst other opinions, lies, and fallacies. Also my mother is a Journalism grad from UCF, but that was 25+ years ago.

You want to “search for the real facts” but can’t research this on the internet yourself?

Perhaps the OP could have better phrased the question if the OP had said: “of the reputable investigative journalism programs out there, which of them, in your opinion, are best at training undergraduates interested in the field?”

After all, one can take IJ courses many places. Which are going to give the u/g the best preparation for a career in IJ?

I’m interested in the answer to this question, too.

I have, geez. Why so negative? I’m looking here for a student’s perspective, not a news article. If you aren’t going to be nice, leave.

Exactly. Thank you.
