<p>Really, any of them offer excellent ‘pre-med’ instruction…but none (that I know of) have a major called ‘pre-med’. Most students that end up going to medical school major in some science (biology, etc.), but this is not necessary, as long as the minimum requirements are met and you receive enough instruction to do well on the MCAT.
Many also have affiliated hospitals and research facilities to become involved with as well. They all offer good counseling for applying to medical school as well. </p>
<p>But, you do not really ‘need’ to go to an Ivy to go on to medical school, as I am sure multiple posters following me will attest to…</p>
