I love biology a LOT. However, my Anthro class last year is seriously making me consider pursuing it further. Looking at MA schools that offer the courses, I’ve narrowed my choices down to BU, Brandeis, Northeastern, and Tufts. Tufts may be (hopefully not!) a bit of a reach, but I think I stand a good chance of getting into the others.

Brandeis seems to be more prestigious than BU, which is still a respectable school. Brandeis offers smaller, more intimate classes and a true campus, but I’ve also fallen in love with Boston city life and feel like BU’s large classes will give me good reason to make myself stand out. Also, after talking with the counselor of BU’s Bio department, I have a feeling four years there will give me a good chance of making it to Tufts Cummings (if I still want to be a vet years down the road.)

So… thoughts? Any better schools in the New England area that stand out for its Bio programs? URI? I think Ivy League is a long shot, but I do have a cousin who can maybe grease the wheels for Yale…
