What are the best NON-Ivy League schools to break into Big 3 consulting…?
Is UC LA enough? I was considering majoring in Business Economics...But I think it might be too easy of a major.
Would Statistics BS or Mathematics Economic BS be better?
Right now they’re big on machine learning so cs with ai would give you an edge.
Second, math or statistics.
Third, quantitative economics.
UCLA is not a target.
Colleges like Hamilton or Middlebury have very good placement.
Other than the money, what is the big draw? Its a business I don’t know much about, even though I work in Financial Services -our opinion of the added value of traditional management consulting firms is very low. They seem to be called in when they need an excuse to fire people. IT Consulting is a totally different thing that I understand and have al of respect for.
