Best major to get premed reqs done?

What is the best major for a transfer student to get most of the premed coursework done?

Premed coursework is 1 year of physics, 1 year of gen chem, 1 year of organic chem, 1 year of English, and at least a year of biology.

This seems like a lot for two years at CC. Although some majors, bio for example, require many if not most of the premed courses, it still seems very unlikely I’d transfer on time if I were to go for a BSc.

Has anyone gotten through or around this problem? Do science majors just take a heavier courseload? Are they at CC for longer than 2 years? Are there any loop-holes, or majors that are workable, but still knock out some premed classes? Are there any science majors that don’t require any calculus for transfer?

Thanks

Everyone has to take a year of English. And everyone fulfilling IGETC is doing one life and one physical science class. So basically, you are left with 5 extra classes. You are also required to take a certain amount of electives, so you should be able to take these classes with pretty much any major. The only problem you have is planning-you must start the sequences early in order to complete them all.
