Best Minifridge, preferably w/ Auto-Defrost?

Moving into a dorm in a couple weeks… Does anyone know of a good cube minifridge out there, 1.5 - 2 cubic feet?

Avanti has some cheap ones with auto-defrost, but they get some bad reviews.

GE’s look OK, but they are manual defrost, meaning the ice builds up and you have to melt it, which sucks.

Then I found this professional/medical company Summit, with this model

It costs more, but I would pay a bit more to avoid having to manually defrost, and to avoid having the thing break after 2 months…

Any other recommendations? Thanks!

craigslist…

personally I don’t know of anyone who has defrosted their mini fridge.

maybe it just doesn’t come up in conversation though.

i’ve never heard of anyone defrosting their fridge either.

my roommate has a fridge(i was to say its a frigidaire) that has a seperate real freezer. kinda nice feature, keeps bottles very cold

I never defrosted my mini-fridge either… well, except at the end of the school year when I had to take it home. The ice doesn’t build up enough to need to do it regularly though…

I bought mine for $99 at wal-mart and it lasted both years I lived in the dorm.
