I’m planning on getting my BSW at UNT. But I want to get my Masters from a better school. (Or should I go for BSW at TCU to increase chances of getting into MSW at TCU)?

UT Austin’s MSW program is ranked in the top 10 in the country.
TCU’s program is so new it’s unranked. I didn’t even know they had an MSW program, and my husband is a social worker. I also work with a lot of social workers.
Other well-respected MSW programs in Texas are UT Arlington and the University of Houston.
I would not recommend targeting TCU for graduate school in social work.
Also take a look at average starting salaries for social workers. Compare that number to the TCU tuition. Unless they give you a significant amount of non-aid loans I would go with one of the public school options.
