what is App known for in terms of undergrad programs? I can see that Business has the highest % of students. but that is likely true many places. is that one of the better undergrad programs? are there certain majors/programs they are well regarded in? that is what I’m after. thx
The biggest major seems to be psych.
If you look at the niche rankings (not saying you should), communications is #80, design is #102 and education is #110. Others in the top 200 are kinesiology, sports management, accounting and finance, environmental science, and criminal justice.
I’m sure it’s a typical, all around solid state school but I’ve never heard or read anything about it being tops in a field - but in most fields, most everyone is very solid and often the “ranks” etc are silly.
If the school is right for you, then I’d attend with no hesitation.

I’d say economics.
Does anyone have any experience with or knowledge about their actuarial science department? How many ActSci majors are they typically graduating each year? How many exams are they passing? What’s the job placement rate? Do they usually pair it with a minor in economics or finance? Thanks in advance for any information.
