I am a high school senior in Florida and my goal is to attend UCLA Law and specialize in film and entertainment. What should I do to make myself stand out? I know I got four years before I go to law school but I want to make myself look good. I plan to attend UF to get my bachelors in film studies and economics. Thank you!!

Get a book about law school admissions so you understand the process. Law school admissions, at UCLA or anywhere else, is primarily driven by your GPA and LSAT scores. So it really comes down to the standard set of recommendations. Learn to study effectively so that you get good grades and put in the work to do so, when the time comes get a book to prepare for taking the LSAT,get to know some of your professors so you can get good letters of rec.

Start studying for the LSAT 6-8 months before taking the exam (even if you’re aiming for a 170+.) NOT earlier, or you’ll burn yourself out.
