Best Physics SAT II Books

Best Physics SAT II Books for studying/ taking tests
Princeton, Barrons, Kaplan, etc.?

Princeton. And the Sparknotes online stuff is good too.

after today’s test, I think all of them are useless, including samples of CB.

honestly, after having taken sat physics 3 times(third time was today, FINALLY raped it), you can only prepare adequately with a REAL physics textbook (like giancoli), because it is so concept based that princeton, sparknotes, barrons, etc just don’t cover it(tried them all), unless you had a really good physics teacher at school. Those prep books have the equations but 10% of the test is plugging stuff into equations.

for example, what provides evidence that the universe is expanding? (this was a question from the oct 2009 test)

^ hey that universe expansion question was actually in either the PR book or Barron’s LOL I remember doing it in a practice test, and then seeing it again on the october test.

Yes, it is in the Barrons book under the heading “Doppler Effect with light.”

ok yeah, that was on the barron’s and pr books, but there are still alot more concepts that prep books just don’t

like for example, should a loudspeaker in a stadium be short and wide or tall and narrow?

what was the answer to the question above? could anyone explain?

“should a loudspeaker in a stadium be short and wide or tall and narrow?”
