Best Pre-Engineering program for Chemical Engineering???

I want to get my B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering. However, at the community college I will be attending, you can only receive an A.S. in either Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. I talked to my councilor and she suggested that I choose to get my A.S. in one of the three and apply for the Chemical Engineering program once I graduate from community college.

Does anyone have any advice on which would be the best engineering program that would prepare me for Chemical Engineering? I plan on attending UTK (in-state), but there is not a TN transfer pathway for chemical engineering.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

P.S. I’m not sure if these links would be any help, but they are the required courses to transfer.

Look up the frosh soph courses for chemical engineering at UTK and see what courses at the CC match up to them.
