Best prep book? Also question about AP scholar

What would be the best prep books for AP language, AP statistics, and APUSH? Also, would it be worth it to self study for 1 exam to have 5 total to get AP scholar with distinction by the end of Junior year? Will it have any value on my application?

Extra self-studying:
Yes it would be worth it as long as it’s not too much of a burden for you. It’s a great learning experience, and colleges really like kids who selfstudy extra stuff. It depends on you, the award doesn’t really do much (IMO).

I got 5’s on both Stats and APUSH this year. I used Barron’s for Stats (self study) and I used REA for APUSH (I took the class and had a good teacher).
