Best prep books for Math II, Chemistry, and World History?

Ok so here’s my situation: I am currently taking AP World History, Precalculus, and Chemistry Honors. I do not plan to take AP Chem next year, and the Honors class at my school prepares you enough for the SAT II. So far, I received a 770 on Physics as a Freshman and 750 on Math I (I did not really study for this one because I want to take Math II). Therefore, I want to take AP Physics C next year.

I was just wondering how some of you guys would evaluate my situation and my needs to get into an Ivy or a Stanford. I need prep books for these three courses.

Also, I want to know how many APs are substantial for me… I’m planning on taking anywhere from 11-15.

You’re well on your way based on your numbers. I would look at making sure you prepare adequately for your physics exam with a book like Barons AP Physics C ([Amazon.com: Barron’s AP Physics C (9780764137105): Robert A. Pelcovits Ph.D., Joshua Farkas M.D.: Books](http://amzn.to/fnkzxp)) which worked very well for me. Furthermore, I would make sure that you also put some time into your extracurriculars and find unique experiences to involve yourself with. Stanford receives about 35,000 applications a year, and successful students aren’t only successful with their grades, but have interesting extracurriculars they are consistently passionate about and great essays. Best of luck to you!
