I’m most likely going to VA tech for undergrad and I was wondering what I should study as a preparation for graduate school economics. I was thinking about double majoring in math and statistics, but would this be sufficient preparation?

Now I know Va tech is not a top notch school, but I plan to study hard and be the standout of my class. Since I have a passion for mathematics, I don’t think it’ll be too difficult to get some good recs. from my professors. If I do all that, who knows? I might be accepted to Berkeley’s graduate school.
