I have 2 local professional choices. Stanley Steamer or Coit. I thought there were possibly a handful of doggie accidents, but today my backlight flashlight arrived from Amazon and I am horrified. Glad I know, but wish I didn’t. Yikes!
Oh geez, I probably need that flashlight. I’m sending out my sarouk to be thoroughly dipped. My dog loves that rug…
the only rugs I can have are washable ones. I have a dog that thinks they’re grass. :o3
I’ve been told that soaking the area first with white vinegar eliminates the odor.
I meant to say black light not back light. I have the little critters confined to kitchen/back hall area where it is all tile, but still…I just don’t know what has gotten into them. One goes and then the other has to hit the same spot. Grrrr.
Have you tried spot-treating the problem areas with Bissel’s product called Ewwww? I used it successfully on cat barf and a spot where the old cat decided to pee to spite me because I imported my kid’s cats.
I am trying it all! My hands smell like vinegar and my kitchen smell like Pine Sol. I just can’t decide between a professional steam cleaning service or prof traditional carpet cleaning company.
Is this wall to wall?
Spot treat the most problem areas with this, then shampoo with a more diluted pet cleaner:
@greenwitch - yes wall to wall
Just letting you know that we knew the doggie had ruined the carpeting, but had no idea that she had also ruined the wood flooring underneath. Eight pounds of dog, seven pounds of bladder.
