I’m thinking of Esposito, Hrebenak, or Lake. What are you guys doing? What do you suggest?

Lake is very popular; I pre-registered and didn’t get in. Hrebenak is also a very good professor (Esposito is as well), but Hrebenak is very demanding intellectually and academically.

My first choice is Esposito, second Lake. I went mostly based on subject matter. Sounds like my alternate is a more popular choice than my primary though!

What choices you guys have! I wish I was young again and back at SFS!

Yeah, I should really keep pinching myself and keep appreciating how I got accepted into Georgetown, SFS, etc, and now I have all these great opportunities…
It’s pretty great.

Hrebenak’s class is most definitely not for the faint of heart, but you’ll get so much out of it. Esposito and Lake have the rockstar factor and are generally well-liked, but I don’t know that much beyond that. I had DeGioia as my prosem professor and it was the most incredible class I’ve ever taken (on par with the Hrebenak experience, although in a very different way).

What determines whether or not you get a Prosem class you request?

Hey, just to warn you guys…you can pick Lake as your first choice, but pick something you are more likely to get into as your second choice. I put two VERY popular choices as my top two, and as a consequence I got neither and ended up with one that nobody in there picked as either of their two choices.

Less popular ones that are also awesome…try Prof. Wagner’s!

Hmm… I should have thought of that but I have Esposito as 1 and Lake as 2, so we’ll see what happens, probably more likely to get Esposito, and even more likely to get neither. But whatever happens the professor will be great! I just hope I like the subject.

I already finalized my requests though, so we’ll just have to see what happens.
