Best (Public) Bathrooms on Campus

South
Myron Taylor (Law School): there’s a stairway that winds up off of this atrium into a corridor of faculty offices/classrooms. The bathroom is to the left (men’s only).
Privacy: 6
Comfort: 5

Snee Hall: on the main floor, to the back of the building is a kind of futurist looking men’s room. No one’s ever in there but it’s small I think.
Privacy: 8
Comfort: 5

Barton Hall: huge (old) bathroom in the basement off by the Air Force ROTC posters. Probably like 8 stalls, 10 urinals.
Privacy: 9
Comfort: 2

Avoid on South: Duffield, Upson, Teagle, Statler

Arts Quad/Central
Olin Stacks: during off-peak times (i.e. not prelim or final season), these tiny bathrooms are pretty nice.
Privacy (normal): 6
Privacy (during exams): 2
Comfort: 8

McGraw: the cramped 4th floor bathroom by the history department is usually your best bet in McGraw. The basement bathrooms are too heavily trafficked by grad students and faculty during class hours.
Privacy: 5
Comfort: 3

Baker Lab (3rd floor): spacious and secluded, this one is a gem. 3 stalls and 3 urinals IIRC.

Comfort: 8

Baker Lab (Basement): cramped yet secluded.

Comfort: 4

Clark Hall (Basement): cramped yet very secluded.
Privacy: 9
Comfort: 4

Uris Hall: on east side of the building on the 2nd floor is a fairly spacious men’s room. It sees fairly heavy traffic but it’s big.
Privacy: 3
Comfort: 8

Kroch Library: the bathrooms are both on the main floor and B1 floor directly beside the entrance to the Asian stacks. Traffic is dependent upon season.
Privacy (normal): 5
Privacy (during exams): 1
Comfort: 8

Avoid on Arts/central: Goldwin-Smith, anything in Uris lib, Olin basement, McGraw basement, Baker main floor, Rockefeller main

Ag Quad/East
Bradfield Hall: 11 floors of earth-atmospheric sciences and horticulture…a sparsely populated building. Each floor (or every other floor… I forget) has a bathroom tucked away in the corner by the stairs.
Privacy: 10
Comfort: 7

Corson-Mudd: the men’s room in the basement is money. No one knows about it. Go down the stairs past the fishtank and hook a left through the corridor. Spacious and secluded.
Privacy (normal): 9
Comfort: 8

Roberts Hall (CALS administration): upstairs on either end of the corridor.

Comfort: 8

Avoid on Ag: Kennedy, Trillium, everything in Mann, Plant Sciences

Nice I am saving this page

what are the criteria that make something a place to avoid?

in my experience the bathrooms in (for example) Mann, Statler, Trillium, and Kennedy are all plenty clean. there can be a slight back-up when classes are changing, but that’s the only downside.

maybe it’s something to do with men’s bathrooms that I would not relate to.

I do think the bathrooms in Plant Sciences, Warren, and Fernow are kind of unpleasant, although I use them. the stall doors open in the middle like a wild west bar (?) in some of them.

one thing I don’t like about Bradfield is how the bathrooms are really small. if you want to bring a winter coat or bag into the stall with you it is going to be a maneuver to just close the door.

True, they’re clean but they’re always mad crowded. I probably should’ve named the thread “most secluded bathrooms on campus.”

really? plant sciences building that bad? that sucks considering I’m a plant sciences major…

the plant science building just has really old bathrooms. it’s not like they’re broken or unsanitary. I use them quite frequently anyway, since they’re just convenient to a lot of my classes and comings/goings in the ag quad. plus, it’s not like you’re going to the restroom to rest.

How about the ones in the astronomical department…,

The stalls in the PSB building are really spacious too, and they’re by far the newest
