If you are in the market for a river cruise I just discovered cruise critic dot com a website that ranks the best cruises divided into (1) river cruises, (2) ocean cruises and (3) luxury cruises. Then, within those categories, you have other search criteria such as best cruises for active cruisers (they show a picture of a couple holding bikes).
I’m sure there are other areas of interest to search by.
My family and I got passports about two years ago but haven’t used them yet. I want to go to the US Virgin Islands but really not motivated to see other countries except maybe Columbia or Costa Rica. So, for me, a river cruise might work. It is different but still the USA.
Any others with good, bad or indifferent cruise experiences?
