Best Sanskrit Departments for Undergrad

I’m looking to study Sanskrit on the side in undergrad, and I was wondering what the best Sanskrit departments would be.
How good is Columbia’s Sanskrit department? Would love to hear some thoughts and suggestions on how/where to find more info about this.

Columbia, along with Cornell, would be among the first schools to consider with respect to the study of uncommon languages.

Do you know what is special about Columbia’s Sanskrit department or why it might be good?

Columbia would offer you four years of instruction in the language (one year each of elementary and intermediate and two years of advanced). This, by itself, indicates a strong program when considered in the context of the uncommon nature of Sanskrit.

Go to India if you’re really into it.

I’d consider UChicago, they love teaching obscure languages and might even pay to fly overseas.

Brown teaches Sanskirt from intro through graduate level.
