Best SAT prep class

I have heard of many different SAT prep classes: Testtakers, Princeton Review, Kaplan Review… based on what you’ve heard and experienced, which one is the best to take?

I don’t recommend SAT prep classes (because they are overly expensive, and $20 for BB is enough for 2200+ for most people), but Princeton Review, of that list, is best.

Don’t do any of those… those courses don’t cover anything beyond what you can read in the books they sell for a fraction of the price (and aren’t even that effective). Get a copy of the Official SAT Study Guide and read up on the Xiggi method in this forum (the Silverturtle guide is good, too). Less expensive? Yup. More effective? Most definitely.

I agree with the other posters…There are some other great sat books out there to help you review - the key is to stay motivated and focused. Ace Junior Year has a great list of books to help you review - [Ace Junior Year | Recommended SAT Books](http://acejunioryear.com/sat/recommended-sat-books/). I think Grubers is one of the best on their selection. In addition, I would also check out the xigi method on CC. Best of luck!

^^^ I’ve heard that Grubers is best for Math, and I received an 800 on the PSAT without studying… do you think that I should still buy it? Also, the Xigi method doesn’t load on my computer because I have a mac and there’s some configuration problem. And finally, on the list of Recommended SAT Books, no Princeton books are there, and I’ve heard their 2400 book is also very good…
