Best schools for CS around Texas for avg student?

<p>Excluding UT, SMU, UTD, A&M, what would be my best choices? </p>

<p>SAT: 1430/1600
GPA: 3.2 (Yes, this kills me, I will have about a 4.1 for my first senior semester though)
Rank: Bottom 50%
Taking 3 Ap’s, 1 honors this year.
Very interested in CS, took both ap cs A and AB, have several certs, am on UIL team. I actually placed 3rd in an individual UIL Invitational Meet today out of about 100 students. (Should’ve been first if they gave a real knowledge test like in real competitions, rather than tracing speed test -.-)</p>

<p>Looking for schools preferrably in Texas, but not that many left from my exclusion list at top, schools from bordering states are welcome too.</p>

<p>How about Tulsa. Its a very good school and has D1 football if you are interested. Also Baylor, Oklahoma and OSU. Good luck!</p>
