Best Schools for Evolutionary Biology?

Like the title says, I’m looking for schools that offer evolutionary biology either as a major, a concentration within a major, or just have strong faculty / courses within their biology departments. Also, it’s less of a priority but any schools that have a biological anthropology focus within their anthropology department.

To give an idea of what kind of schools I like, the current schools I’m interested in are Duke, Princeton, William and Mary, UVA, UMD (College Park), VA Tech, and Emory, as well as–but to a lesser extent–Stanford, Vanderbilt, Tulane, and Wake Forest.

Thanks in advance!

Check out Berkeley and Cornell. Both of them are extremely strong in evolutionary biology, and they’re easier to gain admission to than some of the schools on your list (Stanford, Duke, Princeton). If you’re planning to become an academic, I would be sure to ask the faculty what kind of research opportunities are available for undergraduates, since a lot of big research universities like Cornell and Berkeley are more focused on grad students.
