Best schools for Italian major with bio courses

<p>I’m a British student hoping to apply to several US universities this autumn (I’ll have to get used to saying fall I guess) and at the moment I think I’d like to major in Italian. I’m also really interested in Biology though, so I want to go somewhere which has a strong science side as well as the language facilities for my potential major. Obviously I might change my mind about the major but I’m fairly sure I’ll do at least some Italian and maybe a different language too.</p>

<p>So far I’m considering Brown, Johns Hopkins, NYU (CAS and Gallatin), Michigan, Berkeley, Penn, UCLA, Wesleyan, Vassar, Yale and Georgetown.</p>

<p>Have I missed anywhere that is good for both the things I’m interested in? Are any of the ones I listed known to be a bit weaker in languages or bio? Sorry for being a bit clueless - I’ve done a lot of research but as an international it’s hard to gauge a school’s general reputation or quality in different fields.</p>

<p>You might want to look at the GLS program at NYU, not just CAS or Gallatin. It lets you do 2 years abroad, you can chose Florence. You can’t double major, but any minor from CAS is available.</p>
