<p>I live in central jersey and i want to major in music theatre, i know of some schools (montclair,rider,desales,nyu)…but what are others that you can suggest and do SAT scores matter much for MT majors?</p>

<p>and yes – usually SAT scores and grades do matter for a MT Major. The degree to which they matter will vary from school to school.</p>
<p>The big list mentioned above, and reading the many threads on these board will help you get a sense of the schools that offer musical theatre, how selective the admissions may be, and what degree of importance grades and SAT scores play at different schools.</p>
